I wore this outfit yesterday and I can tell you that getting to this final look was no easy feat. Perhaps, I like the adrenaline rush of only having 5 minutes to get ready (or I’ll miss the bus) to motivate me to get dressed in the morning. I’ll take my time to watch the news, make breakfast & pack lunch and do my makeup but leave getting dressed to the very last-minute in my daily routine. Ultimately, I am usually happy with what I end up wearing but I seriously need to get my night before preparations on track. I thought of some ways to help making getting dressed in the A.M. a little easier.
Tip 1: Prep outfits for the week (in advance) – For those of us that live in areas where the weather is always changing this may seem difficult. Be sure to check the forecast for the week to ensure that you make sound wardrobe decisions. As if waking from a restful slumber and cozy bed isn’t already difficult, make it easier by taking this off the list of things to do in the morning.
Tip 2: Pin it and Wear it – If you’re lacking inspiration I suggest that you put your pins on Pinterest to use. What are you saving them for anyways?
Tip 3: Keep a diary – By keeping track of what you’re wearing you can refer back to outfits that you liked. This is especially helpful on mornings that you are short on time. If you’re like me it’s hard to remember what you wore a couple days ago. A style diary eliminates the guess-work.
